The opening of the Cruise Ship Dock on October 4, 2010, meant the port could accommodate large steamers like the historic Queen Mary 2, marking a major tourism development milestone for the city of Sept-Îles and the community of Uashat mak Mani-utenam.
Thanks to the efforts of local partners and a campaign by Destination Sept-Îles Nakauinanu to promote Sept-Îles as an international cruise line port of call, thousands of cruise passengers enjoy a unique cultural experience in our region every year!
